I have a comment regarding the connecticut team..Let me tell you this beware of this gang of hackers. I purchased a condo in 2005 from Merril. He lied on the condo fees (they were 50.00 a month more than what he advertised). Found that out at the closing. The work they did was sub standard. CRAP!! They must have been blind when they fixed this place up.
I vomit every time I see them on TV

Of course, the third resource I use to get investment data for analysis is from other freely available websites. I would actually prefer to use these free resources, however the fact that not one website contains all the data I need makes it difficult….

Those people that flip have always been crazy, if the markets going up why not rent and hold?

If the markets flat, fixing and flipping has limited upside?

and if the market goes down you get screwed.

R/E market retreats back to 2000 year pricing before even leveling off, my prediction right here.

Hell yeah people are flipping homes. There’s a market somewhere always. But it’s not for the faint of heart and every house should have a back up plan.

This housing market is still in shambles. I am in the financial services industry for a global bank and I admit, we take on a lot of the blame for underwriting loans to people who should have not been granted credit. BUT…We are not completely to blame. There are many people who were stupid enough to think that this housing boom would go on forever. I am personally looking for a new home, as are two other friends of mine. We had a long discussion, and came to the conclusion that “House Flippers” are too causing a problem. They keep bidding on these homes in which people are trying to purchase as their primary residence. We actually grabbed the attention of a few people at tables near to us and we’ve come to the conclusion…. Until we get these flippers out of the market or make them go bankrupt, this market will never be completely flushed out. We all now do research with the Auditor’s site to see who purchased the property and when. Flippers are easy to figure out…If it is someone who is trying to flip the home, we won’t bid on it and will advise others not to as well. Believe it or not…We have a couple of realtors who have agreed to tell any potential buyers that they are “Flipped” homes. Hopefully credit will get so tight, that people won’t be able to buy these homes and end the era of the “Flipper.”
